Fishing Roosevelt Lake in Arizona

Roosevelt Lake

Located 2 hours north of Scottsdale is what many bass anglers are anticipating to be the best bass fishery in the southwest.  A tremendously wet winter in 2004 flooded water in to what was already a great fishing lake, and increased the lake size from 9000 surface acres to 20,000 surface acres, resulting in a "new-lake effect" boom on the fish population.  50-100 fish days are common, and the fish are fat and mean.  Bass anglers and fly fishermen will both fall in love with the variation of cover and techniques that work on this lake.  This is bass fishing heaven!
