Stunning red buttes and monoliths, lush forests, deep canyon gorges, and views that take your breath away, all surround this magnificent landscape. Combine that with some great trout water, and you have one of Arizona’s most spectacular fly fishing settings!
We offer excursions on several streams and lakes in the Sedona area. Water levels and time of year dictate which locations will fish the best.  Our favorite destination in the area is Oak Creek Canyon, which is home to Sedona’s famous Oak Creek.  Oak Creek is a small, classic trout stream that flows through the most beautiful canyon in the state.  The stream was once home to a number of hunting and fishing lodges in the early 1900’s that were visited by presidents, movie stars, and hardcore outdoorsmen, and was the setting for Zane Grey’s novel “The Call of the Canyon”.  Now, many years later, the waters still flow downstream through this history rich area, and create one of our favorite places to guide in the state.  The creeks cool, clear waters are home to both rainbow and brown trout
This fly fishing adventure is perfectly suited for anglers of all abilities, but we prefer the area for beginners and intermediate anglers, as these waters really cater to learning and skill building. All of the Sedona fisheries are a mix of well stocked areas and catch and release only wild trout areas. The landscape is gorgeous, but forgiving on the cast. Anglers will fall in love with fly fishing while perfecting their skills in a setting that’s perfect for instruction.
Each angler will be outfitted with a full line of Orvis gear, including rods, reels, waders, boots, line, leaders, tippet, and flies. If you have your own equipment, bring it, and we will help you get comfortable with it.
