Welcome to the Premier San Diego fishing adventure company, The Hook Up Outfitters.  We specialize in half day, full day, and multi-day guided fishing and fly fishing excursions off the coast of Southern California.  With the finest fleet of boats and equipment, and some of the most seasoned and experienced captains on the west coast, The Hook Up Outfitters is the gateway to world class fishing adventures along the Pacific Coast.  From drag screaming Yellowtails off the Coronado Islands, to the explosive surface action of Calico’s and Barracuda along the coastal kelp, to the beautiful hard fighting Barred Bay Bass, Halibut, and Bonefish of San Diego and Mission Bays, to the adrenaline rush of sight fishing Albacore, Yellowfin, Striped Marlin and Mako’s in the crystal blue waters of the open ocean, San Diego offers some of the finest sport fishing in the country. 
We fish from 24 foot center console Ranger bay boats, which are considered the finest made boats on the water.  These boats are designed to be as comfortable in the shallow waters of the bays and coastline as they are in the open ocean, and offer stable casting decks and fishing platforms, and a comfortable safe ride.  With a range of over 400 miles, we can access all the good fishing grounds in a fraction of the time it takes the larger cattle call boats.

We specialize in light tackle and fly fishing private charters.  We provide all G.Loomis rods and Shimano and Hatch reels, as well as all the bait and flies needed for the trip.
